Clinical AI for pediatric and fetal care

Clearer clinical signals for the moments that matter.

01Our work

Two care questions.
One clinical focus.

We start with specific decisions that matter to children and families, then build with clinicians who understand the care pathway.

Appai logo

Pediatric appendicitis support

Appai

A clinician-facing decision-support tool that analyzes complete blood count (CBC) results from patients being evaluated for abdominal pain.

Appai is designed to work with CBC results already collected during care, helping clinicians assess the possibility of appendicitis alongside the rest of the clinical picture.

Fetalist logo

Prenatal anomaly assessment

Fetalist

A research-stage program exploring how AI can bring prenatal clinical information and medical imaging together to support assessment of congenital anomalies.

Fetalist is under development and is not a standalone clinical service for individual pregnancies.

02For families

A better-informed conversation with your care team.

When a clinical team uses Appai, it can add a structured signal from routine blood count results to an evaluation for appendicitis.

A clinician reviews the full picture and explains what the result means for your child.

If you think your child could have appendicitis, contact a doctor or go to an emergency department right away.

01

Your care team evaluates your child

They consider symptoms, examination findings, and any tests or imaging they believe are needed.

02

Appai reviews CBC values

If used by the care team, Appai analyzes blood count results already available from the evaluation.

03

A clinician discusses next steps

The care team interprets the information and decides what is appropriate for your child.

✓What Appai is designed to do

Support a clinician's assessment of possible appendicitis using CBC results already collected during care.

×What Appai does not do

It does not diagnose a child on its own, replace an examination or imaging, or provide an at-home emergency assessment.

03For clinicians and health systems

Clinical context first.
AI in its proper place.

Appai is designed as decision support for clinician-led evaluation of suspected pediatric appendicitis. It analyzes routine CBC results and leaves interpretation and care decisions with the clinical team.
